Worcester Tri Club proudly presents the Worcester Lakeside Triathlon to be held 2025.
We will be running two events, a sprint and a double.
The sprint consists of a 750m open water swim, 30km bike and a 5km run.
The double consists of a 1500m Open Water Swim, 60km Bike and 10km Run.
The swim is within the freshwater lake. One lap for the sprint, two for the double.
Next a very short run to the secure racked transition area (grassed) for T1 to pick up Bikes etc.
The Bike route is made up of a mixture of undulating and twisting roads round the Worcestershire lanes with some flat areas, fast descents and some tougher rolling roads especially the climb out of Great Witley. One lap for the sprint, two for the double.
The Run is held on farm tracks, paths and fields round the campus, with two laps for the sprint, four laps of the course for the double.
Registration will be available at 6.45am in the marquee next to the lake.
The cafe opens at 6:30am. Refreshments will be able on the day.
The race will be in waves. The first wave will start at 08:00.
Entry closes Wednesday midnight and then we need to organise the waves. You will be informed of your wave time on the friday before the race.
Please note in the event of you wishing to cancel we reserve the right not to refund race fees. We will try and accommodate up to the end of ????? but any later and we will only be able to roll your event place over to another WTC event in the next 12 months. Unfortunately we cannot handle any withdrawals and transfers after ??????.
The event will be run in accordance with in accordance with British Triathlon rules/guidance.
If you are a BTF member you must bring your membership card with you to registration to validate the race license discount. If you can not present it at registration you will have to pay a supplement of £8 for a day license.
