Worcester Triathlon Club are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2026 Worcester Triathlon Club’s Sprint Distance Triathlon!
The Event is taking place on Sunday, 5th July 2026. This exciting race offers athletes of all levels the perfect opportunity to test their endurance and skill. All across a stunning, varied course in the heart of Worcestershire.
Please Note that this event was sold out in 2025 and we had to turn people away. So to avoid disappointment (and secure the best rates) book early!
The Course:
800m Swim:
This single-lap swim takes place in the pristine waters of Arrow Valley Lake, which has achieved certified pass excellent status under the EC Bathing Water Directive (2006/7/EC). The Lake is a beautiful and safe setting, providing the perfect start to your triathlon journey.
20km Bike:
Next up, the bike route will take you on an exhilarating ride through Worcestershire’s scenic lanes. With a mix of undulating and twisting roads, as well as some fast, flat section. It’s a course designed to challenge and excite every competitor. Take in the beautiful countryside as you power through this engaging segment.
5km Run:
Then the final run leg is a predominantly flat 5km run along the picturesque footpaths surrounding Arrow Valley Lake. It’s a fast and friendly run course to close out your race, perfect for a strong finish with plenty of spectator support.
Event Details:
Registration, transition, and finish area are all conveniently located in the field adjacent to the main car park. This provides easy access for competitors and spectators alike. Whether you’re racing or cheering someone on, you’ll be just a stone’s throw from the café and bar. Thus making it a perfect spot for post-race relaxation.
Spectator-friendly: The central location of the transition and finish area offers great vantage points for spectators, making it easy to follow the action and cheer on participants.
